Dollar Cost Averaging has a lot of advantages like:

- It can be used as a no-genius investment principle that is easy to understand.
- There is no minimum capital required for Dollar Cost Averaging.
However, there are a few disadvantages too:
- Dollar Cost Averaging ignores the risk assets that are in a long-term downtrend.
