The majestic sight of the sun rising over the skyline of Consensus Hong Kong is no longer just a symbol of the success of traditional finance in Victoria Harbour; it is now the stage for the most transformational shift in the Web3 world in the past few years. For a two-day event starting on February 10th, 2026, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre opens up Asia to the global crypto community. The introduction of Consensus Hong Kong 2026  signals a transformational point where the “East meets West” narrative shifts from a hopeful slogan to a multi-trillion-dollar reality.

This event is bound to be one of the liveliest, with over  15,000 attendees from 100+ countries. This is a conference to bring together the institutional titans, visionary builders, and regulatory architects. The stakes could not be higher for this event. A face you can expect to see at this phenomenal event is our Advisor and Co-Founder, Tanishk Nigam, someone who has been active in the inner circles of DeFi innovation in the past few years.

Tanishk Nigam: A Strategic Presence at the Epicenter

Tanishk Nigam’s attendance at Consensus Hong Kong should be considered a declaration of strategic intent for those following the rapid growth of DeFi.  Being the CEO of BFM Times, Tanishk has always been at the forefront of providing high-quality news and articles on the Decentralized Finance world. At Consensus, he will be engaging in many high-level discussions with a lot of industry titans and builders. You can expect to see him engaged with some of the most influential names in the DeFi space throughout the two-day event.

The Titans on Stage: Speakers and Their Visionary Projects

You can expect to see the “Who’s Who” of the global Web3 world speaking at the Consensus 2026 event in Consensus Hong Kong. Here are some of the speakers and their most famous projects:

1. Richard Teng (CEO, Binance)

Richard Teng needs no introduction. As the new CEO of the largest centralized exchange in the world, Binance, he has successfully pivoted the company into a “compliance-first” era while maintaining its position as the world’s largest liquidity hub. He will be taking the stage to discuss “Future of Global Exchanges.” His speech included praises for the regulatory clarity from the Consensus Hong Kong government, imploring the rest of the world to use this as a framework for their own regulations. His presence at this event solidified Binance’s commitment to the APAC region as a major driver of user growth.

2. Lily Liu (President, Solana Foundation)

Solana is another titanic name in the crypto industry, and it is represented at this conference by the president of the foundation, Lily Liu. The company has been a champion in innovation to push the boundaries of high-throughput blockchain performance. She is scheduled to give a powerful keynote speech on “Scalability as a Human Right.” She is a global leader at the intersection of payments and finances, known as “PayFi,” and is responsible for leading the shift to make crypto-native payments viable for global merchants.

3. Yat Siu (Co-Founder & Chairman, Animoca Brands)

A hero in her city of Hong Kong, Yat Siu is one of the world’s most notable advocates for “Digital Property Rights.” He is the Co-Founder and Chairman of Animoca Brands, the powerhouse behind the Open Metaverse. The company is responsible for investments in hundreds of projects that leverage Web3 gaming and NFTs. His session at the conference will focus on how  Web3 culture and gaming will be the “Trojan Horse” for mass adoption in Asia. This will help turn passive consumers into active stakeholders in the digital economy of Consensus Hong Kong.

4. Peter Mintzberg (CEO, Grayscale)

You should also expect to find Peter Mintzberg, the CEO of Greyscale, at this phenomenal event. The man responsible for the historic success of Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs will be at Consensus to share insights into the next generation of institutional products. His work has focused on the concept of “tokenization of everything”. A concept meant to find a way to transform blockchain from just being a simple currency to also representing Real World Assets (RWAs) like real estate and private equity.

5. Smokey Bera (Co-Founder, Berachain)

If you are a DeFi enthusiast, you will be happy to hear that the conference will also be hosting a session with Smokey Bera. Bera’s session will showcase his upcoming projects, a DeFi-focused L1 built on “Proof-of-Liquidity.”

6. Keone Hon (CEO, Monad Labs)

One of the most anticipated technical projects, Monad, was represented by Keone Hon. Monad is building a “Parallel EVM,” a high-performance Ethereum-compatible L1. Keone’s deep-dive into how Monad can process 10,000 transactions per second without sacrificing the Ethereum developer ecosystem was a masterclass in blockchain engineering.
